Tokenization
Tokenization is the process of replacing a credit card number with a unique substitute value, known as a token, to securely store payment details for future transactions without requiring the customer to re-enter their information.
This feature can be integrated into iCredit payment pages.
For more information on the tokenization charges go to our website - Pricing
After the token is created it can be used until the end of the credit card validation date.
Tokens are unique and can be used only on the specific iCredit user.
Required Permissions - For the Merchant Terminal
All terminal requirements must be aligned with the terminal's clearing company.
Once the terminal is configured with the appropriate permissions in SHVA, iCredit technical support can activate tokenization the iCredit user.
One Terminal for the Merchant
The terminal should be set without CVV demand.
Two Terminals for the Merchant
Some clearing companies may require the creation of two separate terminals.
Terminal 1
Will be used for the creation of the token (with/without charge) in which there will be a first check and demand of the CVV.
Terminal 2
Will be without CVV requirement in order to charge the token created.
Each of the terminals will have a separate payment page/credit box Identifier in order to use the suited terminal for each part of the API process.
